Silver Creek Trading was founded in 2009 in Bellingham, Washington, by Mark Frontczak — a food industry veteran who saw an opportunity to do food brokerage differently. The mainstream brokerage model leaned on volume and opacity. Silver Creek built itself on the opposite premise: deep relationships, transparent pricing, and a strict focus on U.S.-domestic supply.

Fifteen years later, Silver Creek has earned the trust of 40+ federal and state institutional clients and built a verified network of more than 10,000 U.S. suppliers across every major food ingredient category. The firm now handles two complementary lines of business — wholesale ingredient sourcing for buyers, and inventory consolidation brokerage for sellers — serving food manufacturers, distributors, retailers, exporters, and institutions across the country.

The Pacific Northwest is home, but Silver Creek's reach is national. Mark founded Silver Creek Trading in 2009 with a simple thesis: the U.S. wholesale food market needed a broker who actually knew the suppliers, picked up the phone, and treated every deal like a relationship. Fifteen years later, the firm's 10,000+ supplier network and 40+ institutional clients are the result of that approach.

Mark personally manages key institutional accounts and oversees both the wholesale sourcing and inventory consolidation sides of the business. He's based at the Bellingham, WA headquarters and is reachable directly during business hours.
